Dub Hub Intros' Media on Demand' System to Clients for Secure Download Capability
Dub Hub, a provider of solutions for Blu-Ray, CD and DVD replication, authoring and encoding and media packaging has announced that it has entered a strategic partnership with Leaping Brain Labs, a media systems development company. After this partnership, Dub Hub's clients will be able to sell and deliver their video products via Media On Demand or ‘MOD’ platform. Having five replication plants domestically, Dub Hub has over 25 years of combined experience in the manufacturing, print, and production industries.
ONDUBmand with MOD Machine is an enterprise-class, white-label system that helps enterprises in video product publishing and delivery. It also offers other capabilities such as catalog browsing, e-commerce, delivery via secure download, and high quality video presentation integrated within a single software environment.
In development since 2001, MOD Machine introduced real world testing in the summer of 2008, and the clients began leveraging it June 1, 2009. Till now, the device has helped in delivery of thousands of “virtual DVDs” to customers around the globe.
According to industry experts, the number of paid video downloads will grow in huge numbers over the next few years, and the customers who enjoy the immediate delivery and convenience of downloaded media will be vital for this growth. Although Apple's (News - Alert) iTunes system ushered in a new era in purchasing music, solutions for selling and presenting a full DVD experience over the internet have not previously existed.
According to Suzanne Sousa, Vice President of Dub Hub, after over a decade since the birth of the DVD format, the media technology is evolving again. Sousa continued that Dub Hub is proud to lead the way once again in offering its clients a proven, secure, enterprise-class quality platform for selling and delivering DVDs and other digital products via secure download as there are several ONDUBmand with MOD Machine benefits for company’s current client base. The company is aware that this new technology will also bring it a new client base that will greatly benefit from this service, Sousa added.
In the words of Josh Mellicker, President of Leaping Brain Labs, the company is honored to be partnering with Dub Hub, one of the most respected names in the disc replication industry and is excited about helping Dub Hub's clients implement MOD Machine as an additional method of delivering their video products to their customers. Mellicker noted that by offering both disc and download, DVD publishers can increase sales substantially while reducing costs.
February 2010, Easyreplication.co.uk announced to launch its DVD Replication services and Branded USB Sticks for the year 2010. DVD-Video is a multimedia publishing format that people use for interactive playback of high-quality video, audio, and graphics content.
